ok i think it sounds fun to me. just a few things off the back of my head:

estimate the number of people downwards on the number line because people don't always eat that much. alternatively, get your parents to cook less.

mobilise your birthday crew, (but then not say like child labour exploitation la). simple things like toilet directions for your guests would help, etc.

expect that the colour pens will be lost lah...etc. the walaoeh part of the fun.

don't need too ganchiong. it's your birthday mah. enjoyable event :)

heyo! just came back from an eventful trip with serene and huimin on her car.
i'll let lao da tell you all the details of our trip. but i found it truly exciting! haha...glad that we are with her during her history making moment. ha..you won't wanna guess what happened. but yeah, we made it there and back. :) yeah!! applause!! bet lao da will be a super steady driver after tonight!

and yar.. the XMAS LIGHTS along orchard.. its brilliant.. this year we have some very interesting "shaking xmas trees".. the real trees along orchard are decorated with cellophane crystals and light bulbs. taka still has its BIG BIG BIG tree that extends all the way up.. and tangs is not bad.. white snow flake and crystals. and my fave, paragon.. has elves and this nice bluey xmas tree!
loser has to be lucky plaza with RED light bulbs casting a net along the walk way. thats all! red lights with yellow "lucky plaza" looks more cheena new year-ish than xmas so we presume those lights will stay till end feb!

Chicken Rice

Oh yeah and with regards to Ah Py's post on the fried rice, hahaha it was Cynthia's birthday yesterday so Deborah (all Singaporeans) decided to cook Chicken Rice. Walao. The amount of oil that was in the pot was like, enough to lubricate the entire train system lah.

In any case, the rice was not bad. Haha. And then we also had Maltesers and Mars ice-cream! They're still cheaper than Haagen Dazs'. Haha and chocolate mousse, Cadbury cake, Tiramisu cake. Walaoeh everyone just ate and ate la.

Hee I have fresh button mushrooms every other day for breakfast at Nottingham!! But I miss the canned ones and the straw mushrooms, the golden mushrooms and all the other types la. Next time next time!!!! Haha...

Ok la, I'm going for dinner now...an early one today because I'm hungry :D

Haha I saw the photos on Seng's blog!! Hahaha...you have no idea how excitingly happy I was to scroll down the blog and see all the photos!!! Haha the next outing take also ok!! Beng also must be in the photos horh!!! Hahahaha. Looks like everyone is fine...Heehee...It'll be so fun...just waiting for the summer holidays to come next year and then we can go Orchard again!! And then Laoda's house, and my house and here and there!! :)

And guess what I watched a play at the Djanogly Theatre at the Lakeside theatres in the main campus today! It was Roald Dahl's "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory"! There were so many kids in the theatre mann. Haha I think we would have enjoyed the performance if we all could watch it. The presentation was really rojak in a way. And that's how we talk to one another also? Like there's the ee-tah-lee-yah-no (Italiano) stuff, and the British high-class accent, and the jialat accent? Haha like how we do the Gangster stuff with the Zoo, and Mata and the Bombay (ahhem), and the Kampong and Ah Soh things, etc.??? Hahahahaha. I was 5 minutes late because the Hopper Bus came a little late and I was passing some notes to Liqin and Cynthia (all law classmates yah) at their hall.

So happy!! You guys are done with your papers for now!!! Haha...I feel happy too, don't know why. I've got exams in January though. December will be a time for me to work on my coursework and all that as well. Like I've got 2 essays, 1 case analysis and 2 papers to prepare for. Sounds a lot but I think if I start early it shouldn't be too insurmountable, don't you think?? :)

Yah and Jay Chou's concert haha. I went to the one in 2002 with my Sange. And I heard also that Jay Chou went to the Beach Road Army Market and the Heeren. Haha how tabloidish is this. In any case, Seng, I like the song too. Laoda and I were half of the Blue Bananas in Sec 4? Haha...

Ah Py and Laoda will be going to Yunnan at the end of this year right? How how?? How's everything going? I'm excited too mann. Haha although for me, it'll be really cold in Glasgow, further up north in Scotland. Check out the maps one day to figure out where I really am lah huh.

fried rice + s'pore idol!

heyo.. just came back home from a fantastic dinner at serene's house:) fried rice with lotsa mushrooms!plus pineapples. :) i haven't ate so much rice for a very long time liao. haha..

we watched s'pore idol together. erm. or rather, serene and lao da watched it with me sleeping happily on the cushy sofa beside them. waking up now and then to ask who won. haha
i still think taufik can sing better. his voice got more impact.
