:)

hello all...i've been having a really fun time so far. classes have been manageable i guess. and actually i went to Goose Fair last night, with the Malaysian-Singaporean Society. it's an outdoor amusement park thing.

they had really a really huge and colourful ferris wheel, which i took a ride on. it was so fun. and i wish the gang was here with me. and there were exactly 6 seats in each of the ferris carriers. haha.

and then there was this thing called the frisbee. it's like a viking ride, just that the viking is a rotary disk and it's so scary haha. i was hoarse from the screaming. the ride was really value-for-money and it was so darn long. reminds me of escape themepark. ehheh. but of course no one sprained his ankle. heh.

it was so cold and everyone had to be wrapped up like ba4 zang3. you see, the wind gushes at you incredibly relentlessly on the rides. and i was so hungry after that, i ate up 'sausage and chips' with lots of bbq sauce and mustard. in all i spent 9.5 pounds plus transport. which is about $30. not too bad lah, considering the escape theme park needed almost $20. or was it more than that. haha.

ok lah so happening right.

let me tell you more about my classes then. today i had classes on "understanding law". there are 2 parts to it. "a critical understanding" and "legal method". the first one takes a holistic study of the study of law i.e. why is there law? what is the function of it? what is the form of it? etc. and it is very interesting. the second deals with the legal apparatus we use in society. how the courts are like, the judges, the higher courts having more say over the lower courts and so on and so forth. "understanding law" is one of the 4 main topics i'm doing. the others are contract law, constitutional law and law of tort.

haha. will post again soon. gonna get dinner :)
